Inspired by Herman Melville's Moby Dick, Wilma’s simple two-tone colours make for a big statement. Starting by shaping her tail fin and work up the tail to the side fins. Working in intarsia, a ribbed effect is used for the mouth and Wilma is finished by decreasing to shape the crown. Wilma’s eyes are knitted separately and attached to the head. Buttons are added so the tail can either hang loose down the back or rise up.
