Willa the Witch
£3.99
With a flick of your magic needles and a few simple stitches, you will be able to conjure up Willa the Witch. Grab a book and a broom, pop on Willa and you will be flying through the night sky telling tales and casting spells.
Imagine a Hat could do all that…

Willa’s has been inspired by my favourite witch, Mildred Hubble from The Worst Witch, she has a traditional pointy witches hat. Using a combination of stocking stitch and garter stitch Willa’s black and purple hat is very effective. Starting with the hairline, the main hat is then completed, decreasing as we work up and becomes pointy. A rim is added and Willa is finished with a long plait and a ribbon bow.

What We're Reading
Room on the Broom by Julia Donaldson
This is my youngest’s favourite for nap time. Make room for Willa on your broom and save her from becoming dinner with chips. Check out our designs for Casey the Cat, Devin the Dog, Fausto the Frog, Guthrie the Greenfinch, and Diesel the Dragon if you want companions for Willa’s adventure.
The Witches by Roald Dahl
I loved this one as a child, a fantastic dark tale. Protect all the children of the world from the Grand High Witch’s master plan. Maybe our design for Max the Mouse can help with your mission?
The Worst Witch by Jill Murphy
Another 1980s classic for me. Pop on Willa and join Mildred Hubble on her adventures as she starts witches’ school and has to contend with magical mishaps and the very strict Miss Hardbroom.
Meg & Mog by Helen Nicoll
Get dressed with Willa and join Meg and her friends for a party, just don’t step on Mog’s tail.
