Inspired by Bram Stoker's creepy classic, Valkin the Vampire is a big, bulky bloodsucking monster! Working in stocking stitch the earflaps are knitted first, we work in intarsia to form the initial hairline changing to work in stranded knitting for his striking fringe. Lastly, we decrease to square off the head.  The facial features are knitted separately, sewn together then attached to the head. His snout is stuffed with toy stuffing and his pointy teeth give a fantastic 3d effect. Valkin the Vampire is finished off with his red and black collar. The head is then stuffed before adding the inner lining giving the hat its oversized look.
