Our little signet is no ugly duckling and is so cute and cuddly. Starting with her feet we use i-cords. The main body is knitted in stocking stitch using faux fur yarn starting with the top of the legs, working up then decreasing to shape the body. The neck, beak and eyes are knitted separately and sewn together The long neck and body are stuffed with toy stuffing which together with the realistic beak gives The Ugly Duckling an amazing 3D effect.
