Imagine a Hat could do all that…
This is a downloadable PDF knitting pattern
Shearer the Sheep will fit right in down on the farm with his extra-soft fleece, we have used Super Chunky Blanket Yarn to achieve this effect. The main head is knitted in stocking stitch starting with ear flaps we work in intarsia to create the shape of his face, decreasing to shape the crown. The features are knitted separately, sewn together then attached to the head. The snout is stuffed with toy stuffing which together with Shearer's nose and floppy ears create a fantastic 3D effect. Shearer is finished with his white eyes and button pupils.

What We're Reading
Sheep Dog & Sheep Sheep by Eric Barclay
Do the wildflower dance and help Sheep Dog look after Sheep Sheep or maybe it is Dog Sheep looking after Sheep Dog-all very confusing but will make sense when you read this lovely book packed with humour. Head over to our patterns page Devin the Dog will make a brilliant Sheep Dog
Betsy Red Hoodie by Gail Carson Levine
I love the comical illustrations in this adaptation of Little Red Riding Hood, where Betsty the Shepherd wears a hoodie. Betsy is her sheep, and friend Zimmo the wolf are on the way to Grandma’s but Zimmo disappears. Is he trying to get to Grandma before Besty does? Maybe our Wilde the Wolf could play the part of Zimmo?
Russell the Sheep by Rob Scotton
Russel can’t sleep. He has tried everything but just can’t drop off. He tries counting. He counts his legs, no good. He counts the stars, still no good. Perhaps he will have better luck if he counts sheep.
