Sawyer is one of our bulkier hats but the stitches are really simple.  He is a little slower to put together than his companions but patience is worth it. The main head is knitted in stocking stitch starting with his tail working up and decreasing to shape the crown.  The features are knitted separately, sewn together then attached to the head.  The shell is a large cone that is stuffed then gently rolled into a spiral. Sawyer is finished with his two antenna and large round eyes.
