Posey the Penguin is inspired by the great Emperor Penguins found on the Antarctic ice. Knitted flat, the main head is knitted in stocking stitch with a little intarsia technique to give Posey the striking classic look. Starting with extra long ear flaps as wings, working up the head and decreasing to shape the crown. The features are knitted separately, sewn together then attached to the head. The beak is stuffed with toy stuffing and finished with black and white eyes.
