Inspired by Aslan from The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Lyric's bold features make him a beautiful king of cats. The main head can be knitted flat or in-the-round starting with ear flaps and decreasing to shape the crown. We have used a little stranded knitting in the snout. The features are knitted separately, sewn together then attached to the head. The snout is stuffed with toy stuffing which together with Lyric's large nose gives a fantastic 3d effect. Lyric is finished with a magnificent mane and long sleek tail.

This was my absolute favourite as a child so how could I not use Aslan as inspiration for Lyric the Lion. Just can’t wait for my youngest to be old enough so we can visit Narnia together.
