Hero the Harp Seal
£3.99
Grab your needles and cruise to the icy waters, with a few strokes and stitches, Hero the Harp Seal will be a fin-tastic reading buddy. Together you and Hero can dive into your favourite nautical adventure.
Imagine a Hat could do all that…
This is a downloadable PFD knitting hat
Hero the Harp Seal will keep you warm in the chilly weather, he is made with Super Chunky Blanket Yarn to give him a snowy, furry, cuddly look. You could use Super Chunky Yarn instead but he won't be as soft as Hero. We start with Heros tail using a bit of the intarsia technique. Working up the main head is knitted in stocking stitch including ear flaps (flippers) and decreasing to shape the crown. The features are knitted separately, sewn together then attached to the head. Hero has jet black eyes, a nose and is finished with a small amount of embroidery to highlight his features.
