Imagine a Hat could do all that…
This is a downloadable PDF knitting pattern
Harper the Hippopotamus is inspired by Roald Dahl's Humpy-Rumpy, although I named her after Harper Lee. The main head has instructions for working both flat or in-the-round. Knitted in stocking stitch starting with ear flaps, working up decreasing to shape the crown. The features are knitted separately, sewn together then attached to the head. The snout is stuffed with toy stuffing which together with Harpers pink and grey nostrils, eyelids and ear create a fantastic 3D effect. Harper is finished with tusks on the side of her snout.
