Inspired by Nordic Gnomes and my daughter’s obsession with The Grinch this year I thought I would have a go at combining the two and I am very pleased with the result. My Grinch Gnomes are quick, easy and this pattern is FREE. Stuff them with toy stuffing if you want them as ornaments, add a hoop at the top if you want to hang them up, use them as place settings for Christmas dinner, they will even sit on the top of your Christmas Tree 🎄Happy Grinchy Christmas
You will need:
20g Super (US Bulky) - Green, 20g White, 50g Red
1 Pair 4mm Needles (UK size 8, US size 6)
Green Bead - I used a wooden one and colour it green
Darning Needle
Scissors
Toy Stuffing
Card 2" x 3"
Felting Needle

Basic/Beginner
If you have never knitted before and ready to learn these are the projects for you. You will need to learn how to cast on and cast off. Learn how to do a knit (k) and purl (p) stitch and perhaps a basic increase (kfb) and decrease (k2tog) stitch too. These patterns will be in stocking stitch (st st) or garter stitch (g-st).
