Fable the Fox
£3.99
Fable the Fox may look like a sly fellow but with a few easy stitches you will be able to fix up this fabulous fox. Together you and Fable will run through the woodland sniffing out the morals of your favourite stories.
Imagine a Hat could do all that…

Inspired by my favourite fox, Fantastic Mr Fox, Fables striking marks make him a simple but stunning fellow. The main head is knitted in stocking stitch starting with ear flaps, we then work in intarsia for a couple of rows finishing by decreasing to shape the crown. The features are knitted separately, sewn together then attached to the head. His snout and ears are stuffed with toy stuffing which gives a fantastic 3d effect. Fable is finished with sly slit eyes.

What We're Reading
The Gruffalo and The Gruffalo’s Child by Julia Donaldson
I have lost count of the number of times I have acted out these books for my daughter. Just be careful Fable doesn’t get roasted.
The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse by Charlie Mackesy
Everyone should have a copy of this stunning book, with stunning art and wonderful words. Fable will help you build new and everlasting friendships. Hayden the Horse and Muse the Mole can help you recreate the beautiful scenes.
Fantastic Mr Fox by Roald Dahl
One of my personal favourites from my childhood, Fable can be your hero and fight off the nasty farmers Boggis, Bunce and Bean.
The Fox & the Star by Coralie Bickford-Smith
Beautifully illustrated Fable can keep you safe as you search for the stars, a bit dark but a bedtime classic.
