Eden the Elephant is extremely enormous.  The main head has instructions for working both flat or in-the-round. Knitted in stocking stitch using super chunky yarn starting with ear flaps, working up then decreasing to shape the crown. The features are knitted separately, sewn together then attached to the head. Eden's long trunk is stuffed with toy stuffing which together with Eden’s tusks gives a fantastic 3D effect. Eden has little black eyes, covered with eyelids and is finished with large ears which balance the hat.  With the help of a button, Eden's trunk can be curled up or left to swing.

What We're Reading

Horton Hears a Who by Dr. Seuss

Can you and Eden help Horton? He is the only one who can hear the town Whos of Whoville. They inhabit a tiny speck which must be protected from the other other animals of the Jungle of Nool who need convincing of their existence. Classic Dr Seuss with crazy funny rhymes along with his iconic illustrations.

Hooray for Hat by Brian Won

Just read this book and see that you can never be grumpy when you have a hat – we should know! Check out our patterns for Goldie the Giraffe, Lyric the Lion, Oslo the Owl and Zavier the Zebra to join in the story because the only thing better than a hat is friends.

Little Why by Johnny Lambert

Little Why should stay in line but he is an inquisitive little elephant and wants to know why he can’t have legs like a giraffe or spots like a cheetah. Little Why needs to learn what makes him special.
