Diesel the Dragon
£3.99
Grab your yarn and make sure your needles are as pointy as dragon horns as you get ready to head for the sky and fly high with Diesel the Dragon. As he breathes out fire, he will be there to read many fantasy tails with you.
Imagine a Hat could do all that…
This is a downloadable PDF knitting pattern
Inspired by Lord Smaug, from J R R Tolkien's The Hobbit, Diesel the Dragon will make an awesome King Under the Mountain! The main head is knitted in stocking stitch starting with the tail, shaping through ear flaps and decreasing to shape the crown. Diesel's underbelly is textured to give a scaley effect. The features are knitted separately, sewn together then attached to the head. The snout is stuffed with toy stuffing with nostrils and horns attached. Eyes and lids are added. His horn is placed on top of the head with scales to the side of his face and along his tail. Diesel is finished with two wonderful wings ready to fly high through the sky.
