This is a downloadable PDF knitting pattern
Knitted flat the crown is knitted with a mix of garter stitch and stocking stitch. Blanket wool is used to create a fur effect, continuing to the metallic crown with some intarsia work to create the jewels. The crown is finished with some basic shape work and topped with a ball. An inner lining is then inserted to complete the look.

The basics have been mastered and ready for something a bit more intricate, this pattern uses colourwork in intarsia and/or stranded knitting. This pattern will use advanced shaping and may introduce lacework.
