With Easter just around the corner here’s a little reminder that we have the cutest Easter Bonnet available here and for a limited time it is currently available for half price! So get knitting and I hope you find plenty of eggs to fill your baskets!!
We have a new pattern Lennox the Lemur Knitted in stocking stitch starting with ear flaps, working up then decreasing to shape the crown. The features are knitted separately, sewn together and attached to the head. Lenox’s stuffed snouth together with Lenox’s fantastic fluffy ears give an amazing 3D effect. Lenox is finished with his swinging pom pom tail. So Join the conspiracy and with this easy pattern, you can head to the forests of Madagascar.
Lastly, I have been working on a collection of Mr Men hats. I had so much fun working with all the different bold colours, different textures and I even managed to make a square hat!!! I love them all but my two favourites are Mr Tickle, his arms turned out perfectly and Mr Bump, I really like the bandage effect. However, it would seem that the most popular especially with teenagers is Little Miss Scary, I have already been asked to make more of these. I am hoping to get a photoshoot done as soon as the weather becomes a bit more reliable, I can’t wait!! Photoshoots are so much fun. I love watching the kid’s faces as they pull the hats out and see what they will be wearing.Let me know which one is your favourite!
Unrelated to Imagine a Hat, my personal challenge of completing the 3 Peaks Challenge is all set for June, but in the meantime, I am off for a 21-mile training hike this month around the Surrey 3 Peaks. Wish me luck as I suspect I will be having rather achy legs after…might have to sit and design something new…
