What stories will you be telling for National Storytelling Week?
Pass on your stories to teach your children vital skills, let them step into someone else’s shoes and feel empathy. Reading can help both the teller and listener relax, develop literacy and help to explore a bigger world.
So far this week, Fable the Fox has been reading Fantastic Mr Fox by Roald Dahl, Harriet the Hedgehog has been reciting The Tales of Mrs Tiggy-Winkle by Beatrix Potter and tomorrow Devin the Dog will be quoting 101 Dalmations by Dodie Smith.
Whatever book you choose to read and whoever you choose to read with, we hope you celebrate the power of telling stories not just this week but every day!
