Jenna the Jellyfish is a really fun character. Knitted flat, the main head is knitted in stocking stitch starting with ear flaps and decreasing to shape the crown. A multicoloured trim is attached. The tentacles and eyes are knitted separately, sewn together then attached to the head. The tentacles are knitted as three different I-cords.

What We're Reading
Jessie the Jellyfish by Laurie Newman
The ocean has become full of rubbish so all the fish, rays and mermaids have disappeared so Jessie is lonely and can’t find any friends. It’s up to the Humans to pick up all their litter and make the seas clean again. Great book with a clear message, lovely bright illustration too.
I Am Not A Fish by Peter Raymundo
Edgar is not a fish, he doesn’t look, feel or think like a fish. He finds a group of Starfish, who completely understand -they are not fish either. He talks everything through with them and soon starts to feel like himself. Fun story about learning to appreciate yourself with great illustrations.
Spencer & Vincent, The Jellyfish Brothers by Tony Johnston
