This is a downloadable PDF knitting pattern
Saga the Spider is inspired by Shelob the demon in spider form from J. R. R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings only Saga is definitely much more cuddly! The main head is knitted in stocking stitch starting with ear flaps, then working intarsia we introduce a Faux Fur yarn to give a fluffy body, then rounding the hat by decreasing to shape the crown. His face, eyes and teeth are knitted separately, sewn together then attached to the head. Eight long I cords are knitted and attached to the head to finish Saga's spindly legs.
