This is a downloadable PDF knitting pattern
Tilia is inspired by The Wind and the Willows, Toady and the toads found in my pond. Her circular suckers are the start of his lovey features, we work in intarsia for the feet, continuing up to the main head which is knitted in stocking stitch and decreased to shape the crown. The facial features are knitted separately, sewn together then attached to the head. Her snout and eyes are stuffed with toy stuffing which gives a fantastic 3D effect and the detail on her nostrils finish her off swimmingly.
