The striking contrast of the different wools and basic stitches gives Dana her distinctive mallard look. Starting with her feet, use the stranded knitting technique to work the colours. Continue up her legs in stocking stitch. Finish by decreasing the crown. The features are knitted separately, sewn together then attached to the head. Dana’s beak is stuffed with toy stuffing to give a fantastic 3d effect. Dana is finished with bold black and white eyes.
